The video below shows the International Erosion Control Association (IECA), Hands-On Installer Workshop & Innovative Erosion and Sediment Control Field Day at Auburn University Stormwater Research Facility (AU-SRF). We educate practitioners about evolving erosion and sediment control (E&SC) practices we are evaluating and developing, so they know what to do and why. We then take them out to our facility at AU-SRF and demonstrate how to implement various E&SC practices and demonstrate common issues that lead to failures. The following day, we hand the practitioners the tools and teach them how to implement these practices themselves.
